What’s new in this release?
The long awaited version of Aspose.Words for JasperReports 2.4.0 has been released. We are pleased to announce a new release of Aspose.Words for JasperReports that includes a number of fixes for issues reported by our customers and some improvements. This new release supports supports JasperServer 6.1.1. New config options are introduced, PAGE_SIZE and PAGE_ORIENTATION to export document with specific page size. Users can change the default values by specifying what page size/orientation the exporter should enforce. It also provides fixes for important bugs reported by our customers, some of them includes as Export output document with specific paper size, Text formatting of empty text field is lost in output Docx, Charts do not export in output documents, AWDocxExporter.setParameter is deprecated now, Issue with scaling of svg images in word documents and Section breaks are inserted in output Docx. Overview: Aspose.Words for JasperReports
Aspose.Words for JasperReports makes it possible exporting reports from JasperReports and JasperServer to Microsoft Word document (DOC), Office Open XML (OOXML, DOCX), Web page (HTML) and plain text (TXT) formats. It is written purely in Java and is provided as a single JAR file that can easily be deployed on the machines running JasperReports or JasperServer. Aspose.Words for JasperReports exports flow layout documents that are easy to further edit in Microsoft Word, if necessary.
